CT LOs for Snickerdoodle Designs by Karen using New Kit Scarecrow Wannabe!

Great kit to play with and there's SO much in there!
The 2nd LO was made using element/papers from the kit as they came save for a bit of resizing. I made the light effects by duplicating the photo and using different blending modes and opacities to get the desired effect. Then I used the mask in the kit as it came to add some black pattern on the very background, which I coloured orange and then used a default brush in pse8 to add some darker red and even black behind the photo! FUN!

Hummie's World, Filters Challenge, Class 4 - Diffuse Glow

What a difference a filter can make, eh?!!!! LOVED playing with this filter! Top is the original photo, and after a good play, and with 3 layers of the photo with a pink, white and then dark grey diffuse glow applied, then changed blending modes and opacities, my finished page!
I'm loving this Filters Challenge course...am always itching to see what the next one will be, LOL!!

Hummie's World, Scrapping Goals challenge 14 - Fave Technique - Hidden Treasures

Had SO much fun creating this!! I used one mask, at different sizes and shapes. I LOVE masks!!! Then I clipped either the photo, enlarged copies of the photo, or paper to each mask to get a sense of depth and texture. Brought in some extra colours, and then finished off with my second fave technique - brushes! Used 3 different brushes at varying levels between the layers, to obtain different effect! FUN!!!!!

The Sunday Creative - Week 2 - Denim

Well, what an eye-opener this one was, LOL! When I saw the prompt 'denim' I thought 'what on earth can I get from that?!' Then I saw DD1's purse, so got the photo. Then I found a great quote which I loved! Then I wanted just one little embellishment, and found this gorgeous butterfly brush...which set my mind off on another path! Thinking of the butterfly effect, and how, if each of us did one thing each day as the quote describes, how this would spread out across the world and how it would affect people! Pretty amazing thought!!
That said, it is late and I need sleep, LOL, so if it's too random, I apologise!!!!

Hummie's World, Course 2 Class 9 - Brushes

I LURVE brushes, so really enjoyed myself with this!!
I used a border brush on the photo (border brushes for photoshop by pyocola_sama) and a floral brush on the b/g paper (Dance of the Flower brushes by sleepwalkerfish), and made my own brush from text for the title (Font: VT Portable Remington). Stash used was Secret Garden Creations' Morning Song Mini Kit availale at Funky Playground Designs and Improvisations - seeing spots (sorry, not sure where this came from, but the kit is lovely!)
The flowers we bought in advance of last w/e are still going strong - most unusual for me, LOL!!
