Hummie's World - Course 2, lessons 59-61

The first LO was made for the CT Challenge at Creative Victorian Designs, but then as I had a last minute concern about the wording at the start - should it be smile or sad - it occurred to me it's the perfect page to use for the strikethrough text lesson!

The 2nd page uses an inset technique, and the last I created a colour swatch from the photo and recoloured elements to match the pic! I also made my own brad, LOL! Yay!!!

Hummie's World, Course 2, Lesson 42 - Self-Installing Plug ins!

Had to download and install a plug in for this - who'd have thought I could do that?!!!!!

I wanted to make this for Julia. Although Donnie is still with us, I wanted to create a happy page with a positive thought attached, that she might be able to come back to as and when.

Julia, I hope you like this, and it doesn't make you too sad right now! And I hope you'll be able to come back to this afterwards and enjoy it!

Hummie's World, Course 2, Class 26 - repeated Elements

The task was to repeat an element...so I used squares, created a template and clipped the large photo to it! Then used a couple more pics with reduced opacity to take them back a bit. I love this photo of my sister with tears welling during her Wedding (or rather part 1 of the wedding, LOL) on Friday! Didn't want these photos to get forgotten amongst all the photos from part 2 of the Wedding on saturday!!

Hummie's World Course 2 Class 15 - Layer Styles

WOW! That's all I can say! Layer styles are actually amazing! I'm a bit fussy about what I like and don't like so can't see me d/ling hundreds or anything, but I found some today that are lovely! So much so that when I changed the scaling and saw how it looked, rather than just use it on text or some small element, I used it on a b/g layer and made it into my b/g paper!!

had so much fun with that and using the gorgeous masks - I feel completely chilled now!
